Help Me Name My New Brother!!

Hi, it's me, Macy, and I have a favor to ask of you!

As you may have heard by now I have a new puppy

addition to our family. He is an 8 month old Miniature Australian Shepherd. His name is Neko, but the name isn't working with his time spent in Fitness at Four Paws.

So I have a BIG favor to ask of anyone reading this.

PLLEEAASSSEE help us find a new name for him!!

Don't get us wrong, we like the name, but it causes him some confusion. He needs a name that is unique and not

 used by many. So Spot is out of the question! My sister

likes Foster..Australian for Beer!!

He fits right in with the family. We take long walks and go to the dog park. He's a lot of fun. Even when he takes my favorite duck toy!! He's definitely a keeper!! So if anyone out there has any suggestions let me know and I'll pass it on. the final choice is mine. They just don't know it yet!!!

Nutrition Pet Fair and Reducing for Rescues Kick off March 24th

Gucci Tucci update.
Well I can't believe it's that time of year again for the 4th Annual Nutrition Fair.  I have (actually my mom) been watching my weight very closely this winter and exercising daily at 4 Paw Swim and Fitness.  Happy to say that I am maintaining my svelte figure.  If it was up to me I would eat everything in sight, I read some where that dogs will eat anything and I can vouch for that.
Hope anyone wanting to learn more about nutrition and weight loss will stop in between 12:30pm and 2 pm Saturday 3/24/12.

Hi Everyone
Boy, am I ever glad it's almiost spring. I like the snow, but I want to smell all the good stuff that was left under the snow.  By the way, my birthday is on March 17th - PARTY TIME.  I'll be 8 years old (that makes me about 48 years in people years).  WOW I don't feel that old.  Guess that's because my family keep me lean and trim and give me lots of excercise.  Well gotta go - hope to see you at the Pet Nutrition Fair on March 24 at Westside Family Pet.

Under the Couch

I decided I should write since my Mom is at work now and I have nothing to do. Norton has to go in his crate because sometimes he is naughty, so all I can do is stare at him and hope he comes out to play with me. It's my birthday tomorrow I will be 2 years old! Hopefully my Mom will get me something really fun. I know I will be able to go and play with all my friends at 4 Paws for a little while, then come home and snuggle with Mom...maybe she will take me for a walk since it will be nice outside! I love to go on walks.

I found this new place the other day that I love to sit under and creep on Norton. It is under the couch, it's dark and he can't come and get me under there. He gets so mad when I go under there and once I know the coast is clear I turbo around the house under my Mom's bed (another place he can't get me). I just laugh and think..oh boy don't you wish you could fit under here and get me. He tries really hard but yet he can't seem to get under there. Mom likes to take pictures of me under there, she finds it funny. I do not know why, it's another place for me to hide.

Hello everyone!
Its Nort again, I am going to take this oportunity to tell all you dog owners our there, I get it were cute and cuddly and just so gosh darn entertaining, but please, GO AWAY.
Dont know what I'm talking about? Well let me tell you! The other day my sister Chanel and I were having a great time doing our Turbo-ing around the house, (I mean, we were practically flying) when Chanels mom Chelsey picked her up and held her over the tub and Chanel started flailing her legs in this funny way, and I couldnt get why. Then it hit me! Chanely was swimming! She was preparing for a swim!  Like any smart dog Chanel was doing what she needed to, to survive! To make it worse, it was IN THE BATH!!  So naturally I took off. Next thing I know mom picks me up! Soon, Chanel and I are both over the tub! I felt like the world was gonna end!! I just wanted to die! Then they were slowly lowering us down, I clenched my teeth, held my breath, and soon I can feel the bottom of the tub on my feet. All I remember thinking is, oh please someone help me! and.. and!!.....nothing. There was no water in the tub, no soap out, no towels, nothing. They put me and Chanel in an EMPTY TUB! Very cruel joke you two!! I do not appreciate it! No matter how funny you thought it was!

So again.. I would just like to say, I love you, but please.. just go away.

Hello! Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been busy at 4 Paws Swim and Fitness with my brother Nort. My Mom is taking classes at a place called school, which is okay becuase I get to go play with all my friends.



I'm not sure what to think about this weather, I like when it's really warm out I get to go on walks and my feet don't get cold. I like to play in the snow and eat it but I can't be out there too long especially when it's cold. My Mom has a coat for me to wear but I refuse to wear it, it restricts my ability to run around. Mom thinks it's cute and laughs at me which is not very nice of her.













The other weekend my friend Gucci came over to stay with us for a few days. It was a busy weekend; playing with toys and going on walks. I also get to go on walks with my big sister Jilly. I can't walk as far as her though she's a lot bigger than I am.
But that's it for now, gotta get back to my snoozin :)

It's a great day to be a dog!

Hi it's me Wicked. Today was a great day. My best friend Dakota's birthday is today. He turned 9. So my mom Beth and his dad decided to go to the dog park. My mom didn't know it was going to be so muddy! I love running in the mud! I even got some on my face, so I decided to put some back on my mom so she could have has much fun as I was having.

There was mud snow and lots of hidden land mines that must have been hiding under the snow. (I think you know what land mines are) He He my mom stepped in one! How come our house can't be a dog park. I know it's a farm because of all those cats that live with us.

When we were done my mom had to try and get some of the mud off of me. As you can see it was everywhere! I think dogs should be dirty all the time.
NOOOO mom I don't want a bath! :( just let me rub up on you some more and I'll be clean. Please!!!! Oh crap I'm in the tub~~
Well it was good while it lasted. I'm all nice and clean now. The mud is just a distant memory now. Until next time great muddy dog park!
